Hong Kong SAR Truly Instrument Ltd has introduced model TBG-2000, a blood pressure monitor that also functions as a glucose meter.
The FDA-registered product, which has an audio feature, stores up to 240 readings of pulse rate, and systolic and diastolic pressure together with the date and time they were taken. It turns off automatically after 2 minutes on standby.
The model needs 0.5L of blood sample and displays the result of the glucose count in 5 seconds. Average readings for 14, 28 or 56 days can be provided.
